Jane Ackerely, PMHNP-BC, Community Service Chairperson
Jane is employed at La Frontera Arizona, Southwest Clinic, working with people with serious mental illness, as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive experience in the community and church involvment working with the indigent and less advantaged. She received a postmaster’s degree as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practioner from the University of Arizona. She holds a Masters and Bachelors degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the U of A. Throughout her 36 year nursing career, Jane has traveled the world as a nurse for various youth choral organizations. She also has experience in med-surg nursing, post surgical care, vocational education and has held management positions. She is married with 2 adult children, is active in her church and pursues other interests such as piano and guitar.

Mike Langmead, Legislative Chairperson
Mike has participated in the Lobby Days for Advanced Practice Nurses held by the AZNA. He is very involved with Arizona politics and has campaigned for State Representative for District 30 in 2002. He currently is employed in Occupational Health onsite at a local defense contractor and is an instructor at the University of Phoenix NP program.
